A Pepsi-Izze deal would confirm months of speculation within the beverage industry that the 4-year-old maker of sparkling fruit juices attracted a big-name suitor. Earlier this summer, trade publication Beverage Business Insights reported the two companies were in talks. Khermouch said Monday he expected the deal to close this week.
