Ambitious dust-keeper fairy Zarina, captivated by Blue Pixie Dust, teams up with scheming pirates when her ideas get her into trouble. Fawn never judges a book by its cover. She is an Animal Talent Fairy who loves all animals. Vidia is the fastest of the fast-flying fairies. She is confident and caring in her own way. She loves her friends, but may not say it out loud. Periwinkle is a Frost Fairy who lives in the Winter Woods. She learns that Tinker Bell is her sister when their wings both glow.
She is curious and loves to go on adventures. Her pixie dust was responsible for making Wendy and the children fly and for many of the magical goings-on they encountered. However, in Disney marketing materials, like in this vintage lithographic print, Tink was never without it. In the animated movie, Tinker Bell only betrayed Peter after being kidnapped by Captain Hook, who promised he'd remove Wendy from Peter's life and spare the boy if Tink told him where the Lost Boys secret hiding place was.
The novel was a raucous party at the Lost Boy's hideout that left Tink humiliated enough to deliberately meet with Captain Hook and tell him their location.
In the movie, however , Tinkerbell was kidnapped. In Barrie's play, Captain Hook put poison in medicine meant for Peter, and Tink sacrificed herself to save his life. In order to revive the downed fairy, the audience would clap, and their thunderous applause would bring her back to life. Instead of poison, Hook tried to kill Peter with a bomb in the movie, and Tink perished off-screen in the rubble of the Lost Boy's hideout.
However, she wasn't gone for good, and Peter's concern and love brought her back from the brink. While Tink never expressed her feelings for Peter in the movie, it was clear that she was jealous of Wendy, who, as a human girl, was everything she couldn't be and, in her mind, a potential partner for Peter. She even tried to get the Lost Boys to shoot her down , an act which only served to push Peter and Wendy closer together.
In Barrie's play and his novel, Tink tried to communicate her love to Peter, but it was unrequited, too mature an emotion for the boy who never wanted to grow up. The implied romance was more emphatic, but the visual medium of the animated movie allowed it to be more visceral. In both J. When Terence accidentally broke the scepter, Tink broke the moonstone in a fit of rage which was to go into the scepter. Tinker Bell set off to find the Mirror of Incanta , which would allow her to wish for a new moonstone.
She reached the pirate ship which was rumored to have the mirror. She is joined on her adventure by a fire fly named Blaze. In Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue , Tink went to Fairy Camp on the mainland, presumably an outpost where nature fairies stayed to monitor nature.
While there she met Lizzy Griffiths , a lonely nine-year-old human girl. When Lizzy's father discovered Tinker Bell, he tried to capture and show her to other scientists, but ended up capturing Vidia instead. They did well and made it to the second day, but had lost at the game of twig spheres.
She fixed Rosetta and Chloe 's cart, and cheered them on. In Pixie Hollow Bake Off special Tink challenges a baking fairy named Gelata in a contest to see who can make the best cake for Queen Clarion's arrival day party.
In The Pirate Fairy film , she and her friends - Silvermist, Rosetta, Iridessa, Fawn, and Vidia - set off on a mission to 'save' ex dust-keeper fairy Zarina from pirates after she steals the precious blue dust from Pixie Hollow. To their shock, however, they find out that she is the actually the captain of the ship. Due to her knowledge of and experiments with Pixie Dust, Zarina switches Tink and her friend's talents, leaving Tink as a water fairy. Through a series of challenges and obstacles, including the pirates themselves, Tink helps Zarina realize that she belongs in Pixie Hollow as a dust-keeper.
In the end, Tinker Bell is switched back to her original talent of what she does best - being a Tinker - thanks to the returned Zarina. In Tinker Bell and the Legend of the Neverbeast film , Tinkerbell helps her friend Fawn smuggle a baby hawk out of Pixie Hollow, which falls through when Rosetta reveals the baby hawk, causing panic and chaos. Tink then stands up for Fawn when she is getting reprimanded by Queen Clarion saying that "Fawn's just got a big heart, that's all.
She finds Gruff but is knocked unconscious after Gruff shoves her aside with his powerful tail. When she wakes, she tells Fawn that Gruff saved her. When she was in the Winter Woods, lighting struck a tree, causing it to fall. If Gruff hadn't knocked her back with his tail, Tink would have been crushed by the tree. Fawn is shocked and guilty because she let Gruff be captured, believing him to be dangerous due to what she saw happen to Tink.
Tink helps her free Gruff and they save Pixie Hollow.
